Great food and exceptional service. Having a view of the Cape Cod canal wasn't bad either. Lovely and fun atmosphere. We had a few great cocktails including a proper Mai Tai and a Moscow Mule. Gerri was our server and she was awesome! Best in the business! Super attentive and funny! With recommendations and conversation, she was perfect! Such a fun experience!

I had a really good experience here! Starting with service, everyone was very friendly, we were sat right away and our server was attentive and helpful. The food was so delicious. Everything tasted amazing and the fish was very fresh. The restaurant had plenty of seating, when we first got there it was empty but it filled quickly and everyone seemed to be seated rather quickly. Good vibe!

We stopped by for dinner w friends who live in the area. Lovely clean restaurant a welcome staff. Plenty of parking. The restaurant was by the water w great views . Was nice w area lit up. Our waitress was very friendly n helpful. We started off w the corn bread which was yummy. Had the bang bang shrimps n fish Kung pao fish gif appetizers. Oh the bang bang shrimp were huge n had a delicious mango ginger salsa sauce. Yum yum . The kung pao fish was fried and w a tangy sauce n had peanuts peppers n scallions n was yummy. For entrees we got the beet salad was a humongous portion w plenty of beets but there was no dressing. I had the crab cakes. Had 2 crab cakes to an order w greens n yazu mayo. Our friends had the spicy tuna lobster roll n the crispy dragon roll. Large portions n couldn't finish it n took a doggy bag. Would have loved to have desert but there was no room. Thank you Fishetmeb's view for a great meal w lovely company. Sorry didn't take any photos. We will sure stop by again if we are in the area.

We waited 30 minutes at the bar around back. Cozy hightops with heaters. Excellent whole lobster cooked perfectly. Ask for it to be cracked. Jonah crabs not our favorite & the combo with lobster isn't split. We had to request after trying a bit. Cocktails here were to the brim & made well. Sides were good- large portions of mashed potatoes, corn. The cornbread cakes are great. The one thing that could be improved upon was the cut and cook on the steak.

I love this place! Their Cape Cod Cosmo is the best cosmo that I have ever had! Whatever cranberry shrub is it is magically delicious. My sister loves the spicy mango margarita and the tuna poke bowl. My favorite dish is the poke bowl with salmon- also the best I have ever had. It is so colorful, fresh, and tasty with mango and strawberries. I have not ordered much else but I can say that the fries are great. My dining companions always love their food too. It is so fun to go here and sit outside by the canal. Sometimes there is live music. The inside bar is a fun place to sit as well. My only complaint is that the dining room is very loud. It can be hard to hear your companions.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional service at The Fisherman's View in Sandwich, MA. As long-term regular customers who visit weekly, we have consistently experienced the highest level of professionalism and dedication from the staff, particularly from Tara, the bartender. Tara exemplifies what outstanding service looks like. She tirelessly works to ensure that every guest feels recognized and valued, personalizing their experience with a genuine touch. Her ability to engage with patrons while maintaining a high standard of service sets a benchmark for her colleagues. It's evident that she holds her own work to a high standard, which may occasionally challenge those around her, but it ultimately elevates the entire experience for everyone. I believe the owners recognize Tara's immense value, but I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge her hard work and dedication. She deserves all the compliments for her commitment to excellence. If you visit The Fisherman's View, I highly recommend asking for Tara--her service will undoubtedly enhance your experience. Thank you for maintaining such a wonderful establishment!

Just wow. Seating here is limited for the porch- get a reservation. It was the perfect blend of a beautiful view with a slight breeze from the floor to ceiling sliders they left slight ajar. Great service- and I mean exceptional. Drinks were good and strong. This is on the second floor, but if you are mobility challenged there is a small elevator that goes upstairs. Restaurant is simply beautiful. The food was beyond amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to go back.

This is a well run restaurant...from the the hostess' engaging greeting to the very efficient and friendly waiter, to a varied menu with great options, I will definitely return. Cocktails were strong and tasty, and all the food arrived piping hot, well-prepared, and tasted super fresh: jumbo shrimp cocktail, buffalo cauliflower, Kung Pao fish bites (took a chance with these and they're great), and grilled swordfish. And I almost forgot to mention the complimentary mini-loaves of cornbread...really good stuff! On a beautiful summer day, with views of the canal and marina, the patio can't be beat. If online reservations are already booked, be aware of this note, "We have only a portion of our seating available for reservations, so that we can leave plenty of room for walk-ins!" We walked in a bit before 5 and snagged a great table outside, without a reservation.

As someone who loves trying new places and is always on the search for vegetarian-friendly options, Fisherman's View exceeded expectations. It's a popular spot known for its fresh food and lively atmosphere- there is always a wait. I picked the nachos, which were delicious and came in a generous portion size, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. The atmosphere at Fisherman's View added to the overall enjoyment of the night--it was bustling yet welcoming. The staff were attentive and ensured a pleasant dining experience despite the crowd. Whether you're into seafood or looking for vegetarian options, this restaurant offers delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience.

We stopped in last minute while in Cape Cod and so glad we did! The wait for a table was an hour but we were able to sit out back and have drinks and apps. The food was delicious and the drinks were great and strong! We split the Crap Crostinis and guac and chips. Very good but I didn't like the price of the crab crostinis. $26 for 4 pieces. For dinner I had Clam Chowder- theirs is think and creamy - was not my favorite on the trip- but good! I also had the Cod Melt. I really enjoyed this sandwich. The bread stayed firm and crispy and the fish was a decent portion and perfectly breaded and not oily. I had their Bees Knees cocktail. It was a 10/10! Shared the local oyster and they were some of the best I've ever had! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would visit again if in the area.
